Defective software can make any business stumble. Only those who test their applications properly will reduce the risk of system downtime and thus provide more stability.

These days, software has to meet very high standards: underlying IT infrastructures are becoming ever more complex, quality requirements are growing, and time pressure is increasing. However, this also holds a potential increase for defects.

Our software testers check and evaluate your software to meet defined requirements and measure their quality. We use the knowledge gained to identify and correct software defects.

Defects found after going live cost about five times as much as defects discovered during the development phase. With the help of our software test managers many „fires“ can be avoided.

Our service is not only limited to the detection of defects and their subsequent removal, but also increases the overall software quality of your applications. We make your IT landscape more efficient, more stable, transferable and changeable, so that you can respond quickly to changing requirements.

What does test management involve in detail?

The test process consists of many individual activities:

  • Test planning and test control
  • Test analysis and test design
  • Test realization and test execution
  • Evaluation of end criteria and report
  • Completion of the test activities

These tasks are accompanied by the test manager from start to finish. The test manager is usually also responsible for  the test planning, test control as well as for the evaluation of end criteria and report.

We will take care of

  • Test management: project management or sub-project management, test concept, test planning and controlling
  • Test analysis: coordination and support of the department in the preparation of the test designs, supervision of the test execution and controlling of the test plans
  • Testing: planning and execution of specific tests (interfaces, migration, performance, etc)
  • Test automation: Creation and support of automated test procedures
  • Test support: Deploy the test environments, test systems, run automated tests

These types of tests are most commonly used

  • Unit tests (tests to ensure the integrity of individual system components and their interfaces)
  • System tests
  • Integration tests (checking the completeness of the functional requirements.) Based on these tests, regression tests can be carried out automatically
  • Load and performance tests (Automated tests that can be timed against the current state of development. Impacts of changing the system are quickly identified and can be eliminated immediately)

The two main test methods

Black Box - Test case derivation, also called specification-oriented testing. Here tests in which test case and test data were derived from the functional or non-functional specification are evaluated without the program structure.

White Box - Test case derivation, also called structural testing. In this method, tests that derive test case and test data from the structure of the test object (e.g. design or code) are tested without regard to specifications.

We test for you:

  • Hardware
  • Systems
  • Review of specifications
  • Standard test

We stay by your side until your process and your quality are guaranteed, because your success is our success!
